A Project That Grew: The Construction of Bottnaryd School & Sports Hall

In October 2023, we began our collaboration with JSB Construction AB in Bottnaryd. We started with three employees, with the project initially planned to last a few weeks. The project was in its early stages at the time and involved the construction of Bottnaryd’s new school for 250 students, featuring modern classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and two dining halls, as well as a sports hall designed for both school activities and community club events. The client was the Municipality of Jönköping, and JSB served as the general contractor.

As the project progressed, the scope expanded, and at its peak we had about 15 people on site, working on both the concrete and woodwork sides. Our tasks included foundation work, installation of prefabricated walls, roofing, and interior and exterior carpentry. The project is a clear example of how an initially small assignment can develop into a full-scale, comprehensive solution.

It was exciting to follow the process from an empty, sand-filled site to completed buildings. We left the project in December 2024 and are proud to have contributed to a project that will play a central role in the education of future generations.
